Agency "new life" provides consulting services in the field of IVF. We have established partnerships with leading medical institutions of reproduction in St. Petersburg. We know their strengths and capabilities. Doctors of these clinics are known as leaders in the field of IVF in Russia and abroad.

IVF programs

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is the fusion of an egg and a sperm outside the mother's body. Itusescomplexnutrientmediathatmimicnaturalconditions.

Programs (IVF protocols):

  • IVF with stimulation

  • IVF withoutstimulation

  •  IVF withdonormaterial

IVF with stimulation (long and short Protocol)

The difference between a long Protocol and a short one is blocking the production of one's own hormones before stimulation. The blockade, which begins a long protocol, allows the reproductologist to take the patient's cycle under complete control.

A long Protocol allows to obtain a lot of viable and high-quality eggs for fertilization "in vitro", which means that the number of promising embryos for implantation and pregnancy increases.

the long Protocol implies a high hormonal load and an increased risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Because of this, a long Protocol is carried out only on indications. When they are not, a short circuit is assigned.

A significant part of the cost of IVF program is the price of drugs. In a long Protocol, they are used more, respectively, it is more expensive than the short circuit.

With a reduced ovarian reserve and some pathologies of the reproductive system, a long Protocol is the best way to the birth of a baby.

IVF without stimulation

In cases where stimulation is contraindicated or obviously useless, IVF is carried out in a natural cycle.

This method practically does not involve the use of medicines. The absence of hormonal load makes this Protocol safer for the patient.

The advantage is the low cost of IVF compared to standard protocols.

Another advantage of the program – it can be repeated several times consecutive.

Not all eggs, even healthy and in vivo, according to embryologists, are fertilized.

If the egg managed to get a quality embryo, it is not guarantee that it will be implanted into the uterine cavity and will develop properly.

Low efficiency, especially after 40 years

VF with donor material:

  • with donor oocytes (fresh or vitrified i.e. frozen in special conditions)

  • with donor sperm

IVF with donor oocyte

Donor embryonic cells are fertilized with the partner's sperm, the embryos are cultured and transferred to the mother's body.

Program with fresh donor oocytes

Future parents can use their own donor or choose a professional donor from the Agency’s database. Next is the stimulation of superovulation of the donor. At the same time, the synchronization of menstrual cycles of women is carried out. The goal is to prevent delays in the transfer and prepare the endometrium of the expectant mother for embryo implantation. Then a puncture of the donor follicles is performed. The resulting eggs are fertilized by the sperm of the partner. After a few days of incubator culture, the embryos are transferred to the mother.

Program with vitrified donor oocytes

In this variant, IVF is performed with vitrified cells of anonymous donors from cryobanks of our partner clinics.

Vitrification is the optimal freezing method to preserve the viability of oocytes. After defrosting, these eggs are not inferior to fresh, newly obtained sexual gametes. In this case, the donor and patient cycle synchronization stage is excluded from the Protocol.

IVF+ ICSI program

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is the administration of sperm directly into oocyte cytoplasm.

During a normal IVF procedure, several hundred thousand sperm enter the egg, one of which penetrates the egg and then fertilizes it. For ICSI, one of the strongest pre-selected sperm is enough. This method allows to refuse donor sperm, in case of weakness of spermatozoa of the partner and has high indicators of efficiency.

The decision to choose an IVF program is made by a reproductive doctor, taking into account an individual approach to each case.
